We are dedicated to cultivating safe, inclusive spaces for scholarly exchange, fostering collaboration across disciplines through events, conferences, creative partnerships, and community outreach initiatives. CIRS is a destination for all who believe in the power of lifelong learning, expression, collective creativity, and the shared pursuit of knowledge.
As universities around the world navigate cuts and access to funding diminishes, CIRS aims to provide a location capable of supporting community members who seek a tranquil and inspiring space to work. Whether your current projects are stalled, have yet to begin, or are near completion (perhaps requiring a keen audience to get you across the finish line), CIRS will be open to help you reach your goals. In such a community, you will be part of what we believe will keep our academic and creative rigor alive!
Our home will be ready to host individuals or groups, providing access to resources, accommodations, and connection.
